Blood Donation Camp on Valentine’s day

Gupta College has been organising Blood Donation Camp every year on Valentine’s Day since 2008. This is the way students, staff and Management of Gupta College express their love to the society. Every year around 100 students donate blood and learn the art of giving. This is a event which also pulls Gupta College alumni to come back to their college to donate blood and as well network with the staff and students of the college.
Blood Donation Camp 2020 was done in co-ordination with Vaishnavi of Lions Club wherein 130 people donated blood and went home happy and satisfied.

How to face Mathematics Board Examination

Gupta College conducted a seminar on the topic   "How to face Mathematics Board Examination?"  The session was handled by Mrs. Jayakumari, Ex-Chairperson, PU board paper setting committee &  Retired Principal. Even though students are technically strong and are thorough in their subject, scoring well in the examination requires certain tips and tricks from the experts  to plan and smartly write the exam paper. These tips and tricks and all related information was aptly shared by Mrs.Jayakumari. Students interacted very well and felt that the session was very helpful.

Annual Day Celebration

Gupta College celebrated its College Annual Day on 30thJanuary  2020.  Principal Mr.G.R.Sudhakara readout the Annual Report 2019-2020 through a short video.The Chief Guests for this Grandeur were Prof. Venugopal  K R, Vice chancellor, BangaloreUniversity,Dr. B.K Ravi, Registrar Bangalore University, Dr. Indira Gupta, Chairperson Gupta Education Trust, Mr. B.S Gupta, Director, Gupta College and Mr. Sudhakara G R, Principal. This auspicious occasion started with the Lighting of lamp by the dignitaries of the day.

The students were honored for their Academic, Sports and culturalAchievements by our Chief Guests.

In his speech,Prof. Venugopal  K R shared his experiences. He also gave an insight on the changes in the levels of education from the ancient Nalanda, Thakshashila and Gurukula system to the contemporary technology driven education system. He also gave a valuable message for students to refrain from Alcohol, Drugs and Tobacco.

Dr. B. K Ravi addressed the students on the value of time and tips to be successful in education and also advised students to develop their reading & writing habit in life. He also advised students to involve in social services

Dr. Indira Gupta, Chairperson Gupta Education Trust in her speech told that the college not only offered best in academics but also encouraged an overall development of the students through various extracurricular activities conducted byMr. Sudhakara G R, Principal  and faculty members.

Students displayed their talents through various colourful events, theme based dance and skits. The program ended with great pomp and show filling happiness in all minds.
